Portrait of Erlikosaurus andrewsi, the only therizinosaur with a fully known skull. This animals have variously been classified as sauropod dinosaurs, a separate group of saurischian dinosaurs, and most recently theropod dinosaurs closely related to birds. This for the stranger mixes of characteristics that possess.

Very captivating. You handle coloured pencil rather well. You've captured the texture of feathers very nicely here (why am I not surprised?!) and the eye cere is an interesting touch. Very nice ornamentation and ornamental colouring.

In an occasion I listens a designer of special effects to say that to create aliens it was better to use pieces of animals that people knew, because even that they were used the observer subtly he would recognize them and she would give him the sensation that what you go is possible. I decided to apply that in this drawing. The plumage follows a similar pattern to that of the male sparrows. I like the result.
