Here we are represented the variety of sharks of ends of the Paleozoic and part of the Mesozoic: Top left, the strange Helicoprion (Edestoidea) from the Permic; Top left, the basal shark Xenacanthus (Xenacanthidae) from the Carboniferous; Middle left, the exotic male of Falcatus (Stethacanthidae) from the Carboniferous; Middle rigth, the funny Stethacanthus (Stethacanthidae) from the Carboniferous; below left, the horned Hybodus (Hybodontidae) from the Jurassic; and the fish-like shark Belantsea (Petalodontiformes) from the Carboniferous.
